Job Summary:

Digital Cloak is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join our team to support integration of appliances, databases and systems into Government network and cloud environments. The Integration Engineer will be skilled in code exchange, custom software, security review, and cloud services (AWS and Azure) in support of modernization efforts. This is largely a planning and advisory role, and does not require the employee to provide emergency response on nights or weekends. We are looking for a professional who enjoys tackling technical challenges, working collaboratively, and leading integration initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and techniques in support of the solution of complex and difficult network design requirements and problems.
  • Review proposed network additions and/or enhancements and provide advice and counsel to the network manager regarding proposed efforts.
  • Assist in integration planning in support of modernization efforts for Government enterprise networks.
  • Serve in advisory role to the network manager on modernization efforts, particularly with regards to integration efforts and migration to cloud services.
  • Assist in integrating Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and other software and appliances into Government networks.
  • Assist in integrating appliances, databases, etc., into cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Provide advice and recommendations regarding the integration of GOTS and the use of cloud services in support of Enterprise Network modernization planning.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing the need for code exchange and custom software in support of network integration efforts. Develop and/or review custom code as requested.
  • Perform security review of custom software as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for all integration efforts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Proficiency in needs assessment for custom code during network integration efforts.
  • Proficiency in assessment and development of custom code in support of network integration efforts.
  • Ability to advise on and implement integration efforts supporting network modernization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience in network integration engineering and management.
  • Experience in administering and optimizing GOTS software and cloud services.
  • Relevant certifications in integration engineering and cloud services.

Preferred Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Additional certifications in advanced integration techniques and tools.
  • Significant experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Significant experience as a Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience working with senior Government personnel in an advisory role.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.
  • This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Current active DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Primary Work Location:

  • This is a hybrid position. On-site work will be performed at the customer's facility in Stafford, VA. Employee must live within a 45 minute drive of customer's facility.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position has travel requirements up to 10%.
