Digital Cloak is seeking a Functional Analyst to support data entry / integrity efforts in a custom risk management system. The candidate will review risk analysis data sources, extract, analyze, and enter data, and conduct follow-on quality assurance tasks consistent with established criteria. The analyst will be key in supporting the further growth and development of the customer's Mission Assurance program by producing and/or updating existing policies, processes, and procedures.

This position offers the opportunity to learn new skills and develop an intricate understanding of the customer's Mission Assurance program, including assessing Mission Impact by using Risk Analysis methodology and learning about mission associations to critical infrastructure while working in a team environment. The ideal candidate will assist with process improvement, automating tasks, and supporting the building out of data into a client hosted system.

Our team will be integrated into the customer's day-to-day operations and provides assistance to the client on various activities including administrative tasks, data entry / integrity, data audits, gap analysis, and providing user support. Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Government clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve processes, automate tasks, recommend functional and procedural changes, and implement approved solutions.
  • Review system data and source documents and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and deconflict data discrepancies.
  • Conduct gap analyses related to risk management programs and processes, and identify solutions of strategic benefit to Government client goals and objectives.
  • Produce and maintain data trackers, briefs, and/or reports for delivery to the customer.
  • Review incoming data and input into a classified database, ensuring data integrity, proper formatting, grammar, spelling, etc.
  • Perform data entry, analysis, and validation to ensure data accuracy and currency. 
  • Represent Digital Cloak as a company in the customer's environment. Interact with the customer and other subcontractors in a fluid and professional manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively (written and orally).
  • Ability to effectively convey complex information to people of diverse occupational backgrounds through in-person and electronic/virtual communications.
  • Command of the English language, including the rules of composition, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word and familiarity with other Microsoft applications, including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and some familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, define various processes, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Sound business ethics, including the commitment to protect proprietary and confidential information.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Familiarity with various mission assurance-related programs and activities such as Physical Security, Emergency Management, Critical Infrastructure Protection, CBRNE, Anti-Terrorism programs, Facility Related Control Systems, Counterintelligence, etc.
  • Experience with the production and presentation of POA&Ms, quad briefs, information papers, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: SPSS, SAS, STATA, or other software supporting data analysis or visualization.
  • Experience with creation and implementation of data dictionaries, business rules, and/or instructions/SOPs.
  • Familiarity with Adobe RoboHelp software or similar software to create web help sites.
  • Familiarity with the Navy Correspondence Manual, Navy Style Guide, GPO Style Guide, DoD Dictionary, and/or the Marine Corps Supplement to the Navy Style Guide.

Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience

  • 2 years of experience technical writing or supporting DoD document creation/revision, and/or
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience with data collection, management and analysis using Microsoft Excel or SQL, and/or
  • Associate's Degree in a related field,
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Current Security+ certification and/or a cybersecurity background

Physical Job Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.
  • This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.

Clearance Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Current active DoD SECRET clearance is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
